Nushagak River King Salmon
Not into waiting all day for one or two strikes from a big King salmon? Longing for
repeated hook-ups all day, every day? Do you desire the “real” remote Alaska, where
you get the wilderness experience of no buildings or highways?
Look no longer. EZ Limit Guide Service is now offering Nushagak River King salmon
packages on a very limited basis. If you aren’t familiar with Bristol Bay’s Nushagak
River, it is home to the largest, most prolific run of King salmon on the planet!
And yes - it is healthy and thriving! Expect, 20, 30—even 50—hook-ups a day from chrome
bright, hard fighting, tidal Chinook. On the Nush, that kind of King fishing is considered
“average” and 100 fish days happen here every season!
Through an exclusive partnership with
Toman's King Camp
(the most respected operation on the lower Nush!),
I will personally guide a maximum of two groups of four anglers for two weeks during
the peak of the most incredible King salmon run in the world.
Your Alaska wilderness King salmon adventure starts by flying Alaska Airlines (or Penn Air)
from Anchorage to Dillingham. From there, EZ Limit and Toman's King Camp will
take care of everything else.
A short, 25-mile flight by Grumman Goose will land on the water directly in front
of camp, where the friendly staff will greet you, unload your bags and deliver them
to your personal cabin. But don’t dilly-dally: change your clothes, grab a bite to eat
and hit the river with your guide, because the Kings (and chums, and dollies, and…) are waiting!
And if a full-day of guided fishing isn’t enough for you, some of the best bank fishing
known to man awaits you. Last June, I personally watched two anglers land 4-10 Kings
each evening while enjoying drinks after dinner from the scenic high-bank in front of camp!
This all-inclusive 6 day/5 night package is surprisingly affordable and includes everything
from round-trip air to/from camp, all meals, fully-guided all day charters, and cleaning,
processing and boxing of your catch.
Expect first class: Similar to our Kenai Peninsula charters, you’ll fish with top-notch
G.Loomis and Shimano tackle. The boats are big, safe and roomy river sleds so you'll fish in comfort.
No tiny, tin Jon Boats here!
While the boats, gear and king fishing are the finest available, it’s the “camp” that
really sets Toman's King Camp apart from all the rest. Through a limited-entry native
permit, Toman's King Camp owner Bob Toman has leased a portion of ideal lower-river
land for nearly two decades and repeatedly refined his “camp” to the well-oiled machine it
now is. Trust me-the word “camp” is in parenthesis because you wont be roughing it here!
The nicest accommodations allowed by law (permanent structures are prohibited) bring all the
comforts of a full lodge to a portable camp. Heavy-duty, vinyl cabins, with
carpet, surround the well-maintained, spacious and scenic grounds. The huge dining hall is
complete with tables, chairs, screened windows, a wood burning stove and commercial kitchen,
which is where all your home made meals will be prepared. Your sleeping quarters consist of
private, carpeted vinyl cabins with two comfy twin beds. Giant commercial
generators provide power for lights, heaters, full showers and restrooms as well as commercial
vacuum sealers and freezers for your catch.
If your looking for the fishing adventure of a lifetime, call us with any questions you might
have. As always, we’ll explain everything…so the only surprise will be the sudden tug of yet
another big salmon on your line!
